FAQs (Older GUI)
This Q&A applies to AVYCON models: AVR-T900 (HD-TVI), AVR-P700/P900 (HD-SDI) Series DVR’s.
Q1. Startup & Shutdown
-Startup-
Step 1: Connect to cameras and monitor.
Step 2: Connect with the source power.
Step 3: The device will boot and the power indicator will turn blue.
Step 4: Follow the Quick Setup Wizard window.
-Shutdown-
Device shut down may be performed by selecting Shut Down option using the IR remote controller or USB mouse.
Q2. Setup Wizard
When the device boots, the Quick Setup Wizard window will appear.
Click “Next” button on each window to set up Date/Time, Network, Record, and Disk management.
Q3. Login
Press the MENU button and Login window should appear.
Enter as following default Login information:
User name: admin (case sensitive)
Password: 123456
Q4. Recording Setup
1.Schedule Recording.
Step1:Enter into Menu → Setup → Schedule tab
Step2: Click “” button to add a certain day schedule; click “
” button to delete the selected schedule;

Step3: You can also double-click the grid to pop up a week schedule window.
Select day and then click “Add” button to setup the start time and end time.

Step1: Enter into Menu → Setup → Schedule tab.





The setup steps are similar to normal schedule setup.


Step 2: Select date and channels on the right hand side and press “Search” button.
Step 3: Set the start time by clicking a particular grid or by entering the specific value in the start time field.
Step 4: Select the channel display mode and click


Step 3: Then checkmark Motion, Sensor or All accordingly.
Step 4:Press “Search” button to display the searched event information in the event list box.
Step 5:Double click the event item to play the record.
Step 3: Press “Search” button to search for a recorded image.
Step 4:Once an alarm image has been identified, the user can double click the image to play the recording.
You can lock the image by clicking “Lock” button. Click “Save” button to copy the image on the HDD.
Q6. Back up
This unit supports backup by USB flash, DVD writer and USB HDD.

Step 2: Set the start & end time, select channels and click Search button
Step 3: Select a required file or checkmark “All” to select all data files.
Step 4: In the backup information interface, user can check the relevant options for backing up files.

<DVR SETUP>
1. DVR : “MENU” → “BASIC” → “NETWORK” → “NAT” page,
Enable NAT. www.autonat.com is our P2P Server for “No-Port-Forwarding.
2. DVR : “MENU” → “INFORMATION” → “QRCODE” (FIG-3)
1. “PHONE” : Open “AVYCON MOBILE CVMS” and press “QR” button
2. Please scan the “QRCODE” in DVR. It will show the serial number in “SERVER”,
you just need to input THE “PASSWORD”, it will connect with the DVR.

Q1. Remote Surveillance
In order to view the DVR from a network it must be connected to a LAN/WAN or internet.
The network setup should be done accordingly.
Q2. Access DVR on LAN
Open IE on a computer on the same network. Input the IP address of the DVR in IE address bar and press enter.
If HTTP port is not 80, add the port number after IP address.
Q3. Access DVR on WAN
Open IE browser, input IP address, or dynamic domain name and enter.
If HTTP port is not 80, add the port number after IP address or domain name.
Q4. Connect the DVR to Internet through PPPoE
When accessing the remote interface of DVR, user can input WAN IP/domain name to access directly
(user can enter into Main menu → Information → Network interface to check IP address).
The browser will download Active X control
Q5. How to enable “ACTIVEX” on IE
1. Open “Internet Explorer” Click “Tool / internet option” (FIG-1)
2. Click “Security” → “Custom Level”
3. Scroll down to “ActiveX control and plug-ins” and “Enable” All the ActiveX functions.
Press ok and reopen Internet explorer.
